1. What we collect

Account details such as your name, phone number, email address and a password (stored only as a hash). Profile details such as subjects, classes, teaching areas, fee, education, a short bio and a photo. Job posts you write. Messages you send through the site.

Verification files you send, such as an ID photo, degree or certificate. Payment details you send to us for a listing, such as the method, the transaction number and the date. Basic technical data such as your device type, pages visited and IP address, used for security.

2. How we use it

To create and run your account, show your profile and job posts to the right people, send one-time codes, answer support requests, check payments and verification, prevent fraud and abuse, and send service messages about your account.

We send promotional email only if you agree. You can stop it at any time with the unsubscribe link in those emails.

3. Who can see what

A live tutor profile is public. It shows the name, photo, subjects, classes, teaching areas, fee range and availability that the tutor chose to show. Job posts are visible to people who use the site.

Contact details are shared only as the site rules allow. Verification files are seen only by you and by our verification team. We do not sell personal information.

4. Service providers

We use hosting, storage and email providers to run the site. They process data for us and only for the service.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser may also store small settings such as the theme and language you choose, and drafts you have typed, so they are not lost on reload.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. Unused uploaded files are removed by our regular cleanup. When you ask us to close your account, we delete your profile and personal details, except records we must keep for payments, security or the law.

7. Security

Passwords are stored as hashes. The site uses encrypted connections, access limits and checks on uploads. No system is perfectly safe, so please keep your password and phone private and tell us at once if you think your account was used by someone else.

8. Your choices

You can edit your profile at any time, choose what is shown, ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Use the support page for these requests.

9. Children

The site is for adults. Guardians book tuition for children, so please share only the details needed for tuition and never a child's home address or school details in a public post.

10. Changes and questions

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. For any question about your information, write to us on the support page.
